The 1460 8-eye boot is the Original Dr. Martens boot, born 1st April 1960 — and named after the date. Known for its signature yellow welt stitching, grooved air-cushioned sole, and signed heel loop, it started at the feet of postal workers before it found its way to headline stages worldwide. We've made this super-soft version of the classic 8-eye boot from Virginia leather with a narrower fit for comfort from the first wear.
• Footbed - Slimmer and a more tapered shape
Material: Virginia - a soft, fine-grain leather that is treated to feel smooth and supple, our Virginia Leather is typically dyed, and is offered in a variety of bright colors.
Care Instructions: Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to the outside of your footwear to keep the leather supple
Construction: Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
NOTE: Dr Martens are made in UK Sizing.
• US Women: order 2 sizes smaller (US Women's 7 = UK 5)
• US Men: order 1 size smaller (US Men's 10 = UK 9)
